Umdasch Group Ventures inspires at bauma 2022 with its new 3D concrete printer and innovative construction solutions
In Munich, technology leader Umdasch Group Ventures leverages its brands, strategic investments, and subsidiaries to show the digitalized future of construction.
Seven days long, from 24 to 30 November 2022 at bauma 2022 in Munich, Umdasch Group Ventures presented the latest and most innovative products and services for digitalization at construction sites. The “Future & Innovation Hub” of Umdasch Group impressed bauma attendees with its future-oriented construction solutions for digitalizing the entire construction life cycle, innovative construction methods, and the latest technologies for the industry.
At bauma 2022, Umdasch Group Ventures presented:
- 3D concrete printing from Umdasch Group Ventures in cooperation with Concrefy.
- Innovative construction progress tracking from Umdasch Group Ventures.
- Sitelife, the software for the digital construction site, from CONTAKT.
- Concrete technologies from Concrefy.
- The mobile prefabricated part factory N3P from NEULANDT.
- The project and asset management platform “prometriq” from NeoTwin.
Visitors crowded the exhibition stand of Umdasch Group Ventures. The stand of the Austrian innovator was particularly well frequented especially during the live demonstrations of the new 3D concrete printer. Umdasch Group Ventures showed the latest developments for modern construction processes at bauma 2022 through its participating interests in companies NeoTwin, NEULANDT, CONTAKT, and Concrefy. The current themes and projects at the exhibition stand were 3D concrete printing, digital construction progress tracking, real estate project controlling and asset management, the portable precast plant N3P, innovative construction site software for digitalizing the construction site, and value engineering in concrete production. Additionally, the programme on stage with talks and discussions on construction, digitalization, and sustainability was met with great interest.
“At bauma, attendees and visitors showed enormous interest in both our digital and analogue solutions and also in our modern construction technology, including 3D concrete printing,” said COO Johann Peneder, summing up the participation of Umdasch Group Ventures at bauma 2022. “We provide our customers with innovative and proven solutions for the complete construction life cycle, from construction planning and execution of construction to operating the asset through our platform “prometriq” from NeoTwin. The Umdasch Group will establish itself in the future as the expert for constructing with concrete,” explained Peneder his vision of the future of digitalized construction.
Service package for the complete construction life cycle
The 3D concrete printing technology from Umdasch Group Ventures enables building structures to be completed portably, flexibly, and rapidly while optimizing material use through design. At the same time, the concrete technology used must be metrized. The experts at Concrefy procure and supplement the needed respective concrete formulations as a service. The digital solutions from CONTAKT and NeoTwin enable the entire construction project to be digitally documented and turned into a complete digital solution for those responsible for the construction – to ensure productivity, efficiency, and speediness at the construction site.

Digitalization is the dominant topic at bauma 2022
Everything at bauma 2022 was marked by the influence of digitalization. Reducing carbon dioxide, the lack of skilled workers, time and cost pressures, a scarcity of resources, and high needs are challenges that can only be met with the digitalization of construction processes and construction sites. “We are excited by how many construction firms are currently tackling digitalization in their construction operations. It was a pleasure to be able to speak with so many customers and prospective customers, because we noticed that digitalization has arrived,” commented Johann Peneder, COO of Umdasch Group Ventures, on the deep interest in digitalization at bauma 2022.
